Rotblock Conditions of Use

N1 Labs LLC ("N1 Labs", "we", "our", "us") publishes the Rotblock mobile application. Rotblock helps users take control of their phone, save time, and find focus (the "Service"). These Conditions govern your use of Rotblock; they do not govern other N1 Labs apps, websites, or services unless we say so elsewhere.

The Rotblock Privacy Policy at https://n-n.dev/rotblock/privacy-policy applies only to Rotblock. It describes how Rotblock handles information—including that Rotblock does not collect, capture, or transmit personal data or telemetry from your device to N1 Labs or third parties—and it is incorporated into these Conditions by reference.

Capitalized terms used in these Conditions (including incorporated materials) have the meanings below unless otherwise indicated:

• "Application" means the iOS application named Rotblock through which the Service is provided.
• "Conditions" mean these Conditions of Use of the Rotblock Service.
• "Operator" means N1 Labs LLC.
• "Service" means the service for users provided in the Rotblock application.
• "User" means any individual who uses the Application or visits the Web Interface.
• "Privacy Policy" means the Rotblock Privacy Policy included herein by reference and available at https://n-n.dev/rotblock/privacy-policy.
• "Web Interface" means the content or web application available at https://n-n.dev.
• "Apple Frameworks" means Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time frameworks used to provide the core blocking and monitoring features of the Application.

N1 Labs provides the Rotblock Service, which Users may access through the Application or the Web Interface. The Application enables parents and guardians to manage and monitor screen time and app usage on linked devices.

Rotblock does not collect, capture, or transmit personal data, usage analytics, location data, crash or error reports, device identifiers, or network addresses from your device to N1 Labs LLC or any third party. Rotblock does not require you to create an account or register with N1 Labs LLC. Core configuration and Screen Time–related data are processed on your device through Apple Frameworks as described in Section 5 and are not sent to N1 Labs LLC by the app. If you choose to email N1 Labs LLC about Rotblock, that is voluntary contact; we process only what you send (such as your email address and message content) to respond, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Parents, guardians, and other adults configuring the Application for dependents should comply with applicable law and should be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. The Application is intended to be operated by parents and guardians, not by young children acting alone.

In the course of using the Service, Users are obliged to observe these Conditions.

By using the Service, the User undertakes to:

• Fulfil all obligations arising from applicable laws and regulations.
• Refrain from any infringement of intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks, patents, etc.) of the Operator or third parties, including unauthorized copying, distribution, or misuse of any content or software in the Service.
• Use the Service solely for its intended purposes and not for any unlawful surveillance, harassment, or unauthorized monitoring of individuals.
• Obtain all necessary consents before linking and monitoring another person's device, including verifiable parental consent where required by applicable law (including COPPA for children under 13).

Trademarks, logos, graphics, images, and texts displayed through the Service may not be reproduced, used, published, distributed, sold, or shown without the prior written consent of the Operator.

The User undertakes to inform the Operator without undue delay about any breach of these Conditions by sending a message to [email protected].

The Operator is not liable for any services supplied by third parties, such as the quality of Internet connections or telecommunication services.

The Operator is not liable for any unauthorized use of the Service.

The Operator is not liable if use of the Service is prevented or restricted due to inaccessibility of the Application or Web Interface caused by circumstances outside the Operator's control. The Operator reserves the right to restrict or temporarily suspend the Service without compensation.

The Operator may discontinue provision of the Service to a User who breaches these Conditions. The Operator is not liable for any loss caused to the User by such suspension.

The User bears all legal consequences arising from a breach of their obligations under these Conditions or applicable law and shall reimburse the Operator for any costs incurred as a result of third-party claims arising from such a breach.

The Operator is not liable for any damage caused to the User's electronic devices, operating system, or other software as a result of installing or using the Application.

The User expressly acknowledges that the core purpose of the Application is to block or restrict access to apps, websites, and notifications on linked devices, and that such blocking will prevent use of those services for any purpose during the restriction period. The Operator is not liable for any harm, loss, or inconvenience resulting from the User's use of blocking features.

The Operator is not liable for any data processed locally on the User's device via Apple Frameworks. Rotblock does not transmit that on-device configuration or Screen Time data to the Operator; the Operator does not operate Rotblock application servers that store such data from the app. See the Privacy Policy and Section 5.

Rotblock uses Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time frameworks to provide its core functionality on iOS and iPadOS.

Apple's Screen Time technology does not provide Rotblock or N1 Labs LLC with the ability to read, collect, or modify the list of apps installed on a User's device.

Apps selected for blocking are identified by a randomly generated token that cannot be used by N1 Labs, the User, or any third party to determine the name or any other details of the blocked app.

All usage statistics and related configurations generated through the Apple Frameworks are stored locally on the User's device and are not accessible to N1 Labs LLC or its affiliates.

Rotblock does not send crash reports, error logs, or similar diagnostic telemetry from the app to N1 Labs LLC or third-party services, and does not include third-party SDKs that receive Personal Data from the app for crash reporting or analytics.

The Operator will actively strive to prevent technical issues but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Application or Service.

The Operator is the exclusive copyright holder and holder of all other intellectual property rights related to the Service, the Application, and the Web Interface.

The Operator grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Application for the duration of the User's use of the Service, solely for the purposes described in these Conditions. The licence is granted free of charge and without territorial limitations.

The User may not modify, reproduce, translate, distribute, publish, create derivative works from, or publicly disclose any content of the Application or Web Interface.

Any monitoring of, or interference with, the technical content of the Application is prohibited, including decompiling, disassembling, reverse engineering, or decoding any software or component of the Application. The User may not make unauthorized backup copies of any Application content.

The User understands that unauthorized interference with the Application or unauthorized use of any rights connected therewith may cause damage to the Operator, which will be claimed against the User.

The User does not acquire any rights to trademarks, business names, logos, or other intellectual property of the Operator or third parties by using the Service.

These Conditions govern all legal relations between the Operator and the User arising from the use of the Service. The use of the Service and these Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable United States federal law.

If any provision of these Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The Operator will replace any invalid provision with a valid one that most closely reflects the original intent.

The Operator is entitled to change these Conditions unilaterally. For material changes, the Operator will provide advance notice using reasonable means—for example via the Application or by posting revised Conditions on https://n-n.dev—before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Conditions.

The User may not assign any rights or obligations under these Conditions without the prior written consent of the Operator. The Operator may assign its rights and obligations to a third party and will inform the User of any such assignment.

These Conditions, together with the Rotblock Privacy Policy incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between the Operator and the User with respect to the use of the Service.
