How does the blocking actually work?

Rotblock uses iOS Screen Time APIs (Family Controls). When a blocked app is opened, iOS shows a customizable styled shield instead. Nothing leaves your device.

Can I bypass my own block?

Yes — but we make it difficult for you, and give you full control over how difficult it can be to bypass the block.

Do you collect any data?

No. There's no account, no analytics SDK, no usage tracking. Crash reports go through Apple if you opt in to that with your device. Everything else lives on your phone.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Rotblock leans on iOS Family Controls, which doesn't have a one-to-one equivalent on Android. We're researching what a thoughtful Android version could look like — write and let us know if you have any ideas.
