Rotblock Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 4, 2026

1) Introduction

  • This Privacy Policy applies only to the Rotblock mobile application published by N1 Labs LLC ("N1 Labs", "we", "our", "us"). It does not cover other apps, websites, or services we may offer. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].
  • Rotblock is a mobile application that helps users take control of their phone, save time, and find focus (the "Service").
  • This policy describes how Rotblock handles information. Rotblock does not collect, capture, or transmit personal data or telemetry from your device to N1 Labs or third parties, as further detailed below.

2) Data from Rotblock

  • Rotblock does not collect, capture, log, or transmit personal data, usage analytics, location data, crash or error reports, device identifiers, or network addresses from your device to N1 Labs or any third party.
  • Screen Time blocking, limits, and related configuration are processed on your device using Apple’s system frameworks. That on-device information is not sent to us by Rotblock. See the Rotblock Conditions of Use for more detail.
  • Rotblock does not require you to create an account with us. We do not use children’s information from Rotblock for targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or unrelated secondary purposes.
  • Optional contact outside the app: If you choose to email or otherwise contact N1 Labs about Rotblock, we process only what you send (such as your email address and message content) to respond to you. That is voluntary contact with us—not data collected or captured by the Rotblock app.

3) Legal bases (where applicable)

  • Contract performance (to provide the Rotblock app and Service under these terms).
  • Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, reliability, and improving the Service).
  • Legal obligations (where applicable law requires certain processing).
  • Consent, where optional processing relies on consent under applicable law; you may withdraw consent where that applies by contacting us.

4) Sharing and processors

  • We may use vendors for general business operations (for example hosting pages that display this policy). Rotblock itself does not send data from your device to us or to third-party SDKs for analytics, crash reporting, or similar purposes.
  • We do not sell children's Personal Data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5) Data retention

  • Retention required by regulators or applicable law follows that law.
  • Security and fraud-prevention artifacts may be kept for limited periods reasonably necessary.
  • Support correspondence is retained as reasonably necessary to fulfill your request.

6) Security of Personal Data

  • We do not operate Rotblock application servers that store personal data from the app—your configuration stays on your device (see the Conditions of Use). We have nothing hosted on our side from Rotblock to retrieve, export, or delete when someone asks for “their data” from the app.
  • Optional email you send us may be retained like ordinary mail; we are not responsible for Apple’s or other third parties’ practices.
  • If your concern is email you sent to N1 Labs, write [email protected].
  • Authorized Use. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising out of another person's use of the Personal Data where we were authorized to provide that person with the Personal Data.

7) A note About Children

  • Consistent with the federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 13. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has used our Service and provided Personal Data to us, please contact us at [email protected], and we will work to delete that information from our databases. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe we have collected information from your child in a manner not permitted by law, contact us at [email protected]. We are not liable for any damages that may result from a visitor's misrepresentation of age.

8) Your privacy rights

  • Depending on your location, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection to certain processing, and withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
  • California residents may have supplemental rights described in Section 12. We currently do not sell Personal Information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Florida residents may have additional Florida Digital Bill of Rights rights.
  • Rights requests may be emailed to [email protected].

9) Log and crash data

  • The Rotblock app does not transmit crash reports, error logs, or similar diagnostic data to N1 Labs or third-party services. We do not operate third-party crash or error reporting tools in the app.

10) Updates to this policy

  • We may update this policy from time to time.
  • For material changes, we may provide notice via email or this page where appropriate.
  • Changes become effective when posted on this page unless stated otherwise.

11) Contacting us

  • If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or Rotblock, please contact us at [email protected].

12) Additional Disclosures for California residents

  • These additional disclosures for California residents apply only to individuals who reside in California. The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) provides additional rights to know, delete and opt out, and requires businesses collecting or disclosing Personal Data to provide notices and means to exercise rights.
  • Right to Know and Delete

  • Consumers who are California residents (and not representatives of businesses, whether those businesses are our customers or others) have the right to delete the Personal Data we have collected from you and the right to know certain information about our data practices in the preceding 12 months. In particular, you have the right to request the following from us:
  • The categories of Personal Data we have collected about you;
  • The categories of sources from which the Personal Data was collected;
  • The categories of Personal Data about you we disclosed for a business purpose or sold;
  • The categories of third parties to whom the Personal Data was disclosed for a business purpose or sold;
  • The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling the Personal Data; and
  • The specific pieces of Personal Data we have collected about you.
  • To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. Specify the right and scope. We confirm receipt within about 10 days when required and may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
  • Right to Opt-Out

  • To the extent N1 Labs LLC sells your Personal Data as the term “sell” is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to opt-out of the sale of your Personal Data by us to third parties at any time. You may submit a request to opt-out by contacting us at [email protected].
  • Authorized Agent

  • You can designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. However, we will require written proof of the agent’s permission to do so and verify your identity directly.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination

  • You have the right not to receive non-discriminatory treatment by us for the exercise of any of your rights.
  • Shine the Light

  • California Civil Code § 1798.83 may permit California residents who use the Service primarily for personal, family, or household purposes to ask about certain disclosures for direct marketing purposes. Requests may be sent to [email protected].

13) European Users

  • Data protection law in Europe requires a "lawful basis" for collecting and retaining Personal Data from citizens or residents of the European Economic Area. Our lawful bases include:
  • (a) Performing the contract we have with you: Where applicable, we rely on this basis to provide Rotblock and to respond if you contact us about Rotblock.
  • (b) Legal compliance: Sometimes the law requires us to collect, use, or retain your data—for example to respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.
  • (c) Legitimate interests: Where applicable, we may rely on legitimate interests to operate our business, secure our systems, and respond to inquiries—for example when you email us about Rotblock. Rotblock does not process personal data on our behalf from your device for these purposes.
  • (d) We improve the Rotblock Service based on support feedback, App Store communications where applicable, and product planning—without relying on in-app analytics or crash telemetry sent from the app.
  • (e) Data protection authority. Subject to applicable law, if you are a citizen or resident of the European Economic Area you also have the right to object to N1 Labs LLC's use of your Personal Data in certain contexts and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
